Barista Skills Seminar - Professional level
Purpose
Barista Skills is an educational program focused on the key skills needed to reach the top of a career in the coffee industry. As the modules evolve, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the coffee itself and they will strengthen their practical skills in milk techniques and latte art, not to mention health and safety, customer service and basic business. mode. This 3-day professional course is aimed at those baristas with significant experience who have successfully completed the “SCA Barista - Intermediate level” (prerequisite). It is also recommended that participants have completed the “SCA Sensory” and “Brewing” (intermediate level) courses, but without that being a prerequisite. It includes 4 practical tests and a written exam (35 questions with a required success rate of 80%) Successful completion of this course is worth 25 points for the SCA Coffee Diploma.
