Specialty Coffee Association (SCA)

The Specialty Coffee Association is a nonprofit, membership-based organization that represents thousands of coffee professionals, from producers to baristas all over the world.

Administrated by the SCA and taught by authorized SCA Trainers (ASTs) around the globe, the Coffee Skills Program (CSP) offers education for every stage of your career.

SCA fosters a global coffee community and supports activity to make specialty coffee a thriving, equitable and sustainable activity throughout the entire value chain.
KAFEA TERRA has been a partner and delivering SCA certification for over a decade in the Greek market.

The SCA Coffee Skills Program (CSP) is a modular, skills-based training program designed to prepare learners to gain more success in their career
while contributing to the progress and evolution of the specialty coffee industry.

The program consists of six different modules (Introduction to Coffee, Barista skills, Brewing, Green Coffee, Roasting & Sensory Skills).

Each of the specialist modules is available at three different levels of knowledge and skills: Foundation, Intermediate and Professional.
