Born as Judith Sylvia Cohen in 1939, in the city whose stage name she would later take on. Judy Chicago is a multifaceted American artist, a pioneer of the feminist art movement since the 1960s. She was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2018 and was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2021.
Cited in hundreds of international publications, her work has influenced the global art community. She is known for her large-scale installations that celebrate the multiple roles of women in history and culture.
